You’ll never tire of admiring the chic style of Villa Amalie, but just as alluring are the wonderful views over Marigot Bay. The verdant green hills roll down to meet the sparkling sea, with Turtle Island offshore glowing in the Caribbean sun. Both Marigot and Lorient beaches are a 5-minute drive, while Gustavia is 10 minutes by car. Spread over three levels, Villa Amalie enjoys a splendid blend of indoor and outdoor spaces. Stairs lead between all the levels, with the upper-level home to the main great room, combining the living area, dining room, and kitchen. All rooms on this level open to a covered balcony overlooking the pool area and views. The living room is bright and airy, with an eclectic décor adorning the antique furnishings. Soft sofas with patterned throws provide comfortable spots to kick back, with a flat-screen TV for movies. It’s also a great room for morning coffees and conversation, enjoying some quality time with family and friends. At the other end of the interconnected great room is the kitchen. On the middle level of Villa Amalie is the master bedroom, tastefully decorated in black and white tones. The bedroom offers a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. The middle level is home to the inviting pool, surrounded by loungers for sunbathing, and a daybed underneath another gazebo, an ideal spot to read a good book or nap in the shade. During the December holidays, the villa rents at the full occupancy rate regardless of how many bedrooms are used.
