Villa Gaillac is a 4-bedroom villa located in Anse des Cayes above the Manapany hotel. The ocean feels very close at Villa Gaillac, which was designed for outdoor living. The extensive views are truly spectacular, with St. Jean and Pointe Milou in the distance and stretching deep into the horizon. Just minutes from Gustavia and St. Jean, villa Gaillac benefits from a central location. The old Gaiac tree, which the villa derives its name from but spelled in Creole, “Gaillac” was severely damaged by hurricane Irma, but is steadily growing back. This beautiful, endemic tree, with its pretty purple flowers, wraps around a small bench by the pool which is surrounded by a large deck that offers plenty of seating and lounging and is cooled by the constant breezes. A nice, covered outdoor dining area is situated behind the kitchen and allows for outdoor dining come rain or shine. The breezes also cool the large, open main room, which includes the living room and the functional kitchen with its breakfast island, as well as an indoor dining table set in a corner by the windows and benefits from the beautiful views. The first bedroom is in a separate bungalow behind the outdoor dining area. This is a smaller room than the other two, but comes with the same amenities and an ensuite bathroom with shower. Just a few steps up from the main deck is a second bungalow, which houses the two master bedrooms that both fully benefit from the views. These rooms are nearly equal, with one having a slightly larger shower in the ensuite bathroom that can be fully open up to the outside. The 4th bedroom is situated below the villa, and could be considered a third master bedroom, with a couch and gorgeous ocean views. All the rooms have a European king-sized bed, U.S. Satellite and Apple TV and closets. Villa Gaillac is an excellent villa for a family vacation, but will also suit couples traveling together. It comes with housekeeping 7 days a week.
